Good food, however horrific service. I had my pick up order close to two hours late and Katie acted rude and super inconvenienced to fix the issues I had. I then overheard her in the prep area dropping a boatload of "F" bombs to other employees about some other customers orders...well that is what you get paid to do, deal with the public!
This is the best spot for BBQ in Mobile. The restaurant in Daphne is unique among the two other Moe's locations in Mobile and is my go to when in town. I recommend the pulled pork and chicken wing platter.
The pulled pork was over cooked, cold, and didn't have much of a flavor without the sauce. The sausage tasted great but was cold. The cole slaw was awful... shredded cabbage with a little vinegar on it?? The lima beans were overcooked. The corn bread, sweet tea, and baked beans were all great. Pass on the banana pudding....Not worth it. My family stopped at 6pm for dinner and they were out of hamburgers. My wife ordered the potato chips which were cold and not good. The waitress said they were out of potatoes.
Love their BBQ, but I had the fried shrimp last night. It was really good too. BEST sides in town!
Top of the list for Memphis style BBQ in the area. The smell of the pit follows you right the door. Ribs, chicken and pulled pork smoked to perfection. Moist meats served with their signature BBQ sauce on the side are tender. Served with a variety of sides (I prefer the coleslaw and baked beans) and pan fried cornbread. If you walk out of Moe's hungry, than you didn't order anything from the menu.
