When I was a Pt. of Dr Russell she was very thorough and very understanding of my pain and my needs. I've had 3 neck surgeries, fibromyalgia and arthritis! I love her taking the time with me and asking questions, and made time to find out my health history!
The receptionist was very friendly and, I didn't have to wait 2 hours to be seen!!
Dr. Russell is a God send! She's very understanding and explains everything so well. However, I think her staff hates me. They are all soft spoken, won't make eye contact and when they do look at me, it's like I'm inconveniencing them. They never answer my calls. Never return my voice messages and it's like pulling teeth to get them to fill my scripts! I waited for the doc for 3 hours on Thursday. 4 messages later and now it's the end of business on Friday and they didn't fill my scripts.
I love Dr. Russell and trust her with my health and the health of my children. However her office staff have been going down hill from 1 of the girls that takes your vitals has been just rude and a lack of caring about anything you have to say as a patient. Then today my daughter has been sick for 3 days gradually getting worse each day. I called the office and ask if they would be able to see her and if not would we be able to get a referral to another doctor because she has Medicaid that was at 10 a.m. I was told that a nurse would be calling me back with further instructions. Around 1:30 p.m. the receptionist called me back and said that the nurse was busy and that they can give me a referral to see another doctor or I can make an appointment for next week. So I then took my daughter to the ER because I had her younger sister to pick up from school and if I been told earlier in the day that we could go to another doctor then I would have had plenty of time instead she waited to tell me for whatever reason knowing that she would not be able to fit my daughter in! I'm extremely disappointed and left wondering if this is the kind of service that I should start to expect which is truly sad considering I thought that we had found the perfect Dr and I still do think that.
