My 2 year old kitty had to get "de-waxed" from a candle. From the tips of her ears and all down her back. Tim took her straight back and was pleasant and very quick. He asked if she was used to bathings, which she's not. I thought they'd end up having to shave all that wax off! I came back after 20 minutes and the lady upfront said she was already finished! He didn't have to shave her but she lost some of her hair from the type of wash they had to use. No biggy. But they charged $68, which is steep in my opinion especially since it was an astonishingly quick wash for how much wax. But I wasn't there to see what kind of work he had to put in, or how she was handled. I'm so happy he took her in quickly, cleaned her up quickly, got 99 percent of the wax out, but that price! How extremely depressed and scared of being touched at all she was for the next few days made me feel awful for her.
Not pleased. For the 5 months I have had my dog I've never had flea's. Always treating my dog with Trifexis. He came home with fleas. But I called back and spoke with the groomer. She apologized and corrected it with a flea and Oatmeal bath to calm his skin. Because she was willing to correct this, both my dog and I are feeling better. And him a whole lot more comfortable.
When I asked to speak with the owner I was told he WAS the owner. He essentially called me a liar. I paid the money, as I had no choice but will NEVER step foot in that place again and I will let all my friends know about this experience. I have spent A LOT of money boarding my dogs here (Tim can feel free to look back at my records) . He clearly has NO RESPECT for his customers. The way he spoke to me made that clear. Im still taken back that an OWNER would speak to a loyal paying customer in this manner.
When I dropped my dogs off, I specifically asked the girl at the counter how much it would be for my smaller dog to be groomed as last time I was charged the same for my 40 lb Old English Sheep dog mix and my 15 lb Crestapoo. She stated let me check as I explained why I was asking because I found it odd last time both dogs were the same price. She came back and said " He should be about $40.00." When I arrived today and questioned the $60.00 charge, Tim came out. I explained that I was quoted one price. He got very angry and INSTEAD of explaining why the dogs would be the same price, he said "I will NOT change the grooming price,I will not take your word for it" I asked him why he was getting so upset about it to which he replied " I worked my tail off on that dog and now you want to come in here and argue with me over $10.00" then he stormed to the back.
I arrived at Waggy Tail to pick up my two dogs after a 6 night stay. This is not the first time I have boarded my dogs here, I have boarded with Waggy tail for over 5 years and have also had my dogs groomed there.
I got my dog bathed here and she still stunk when she came home they must have been scared of her and a bunch of teenagers work there LOL
Pups got great hair cuts and came home smelling clean and happy! They do great work here!
